I am extremely happy to launch our new eBiz Guides Angola.
I still remember the production of our first book back in 2006; the country was still recovering from a civil war just 3 years after the Jonas Savimba, UNITA leader, disappearance was shot dead as they located him through his phone communications in Huiambo province.
Of course we knew already how to do business there as we had produced already several special sections promoting investments opportunities in medias such as Forbes and US News, so we then build a very strong team with Melanie Hardiman with a lovely and full of energy director Maria Cruz Ferreira and Luis Aparicio, many others joined the team during our 1 year production.
When we finally published the book in 2007 up to 10.000 copies and then a second edition of 5.000 copies in 2009, we were really happy and satisfied about our job. It was the first ever Business Guide Book about Angola and we did it!
The anecdote of that time was that when we shipped the books there they had to wait for 5 months in front of Luanda port because the port was completely saturated, because of this we could not organise the launching of eBiz Angola 1, and this is why we are now organising this event now in June 2010, so we will launch the eBiz Guides Angola 2 production showing our work done in eBiz Angola 1.
I still remember and honoured the personalities who helped to distribute the book in Angola
INFOTUR – Instituto de Fomento Turístico
Mr José Apolinário de Oliveira Diogo
And also
ANIP – Agência Nacional para o Investimento Privado
Mr Ari Carvalho, Board Member
So I would like very much to join us in our next event in Luanda that is being organised by one of our most professional
Director Shifen Wang.I am sure eBiz Angola 2011 will help to better portray the current business opportunities in Angola now covering even more the Provinces and also all the Entertainment aspect that Angolese like so much starting by the Kizomba!
So I welcome everyone to help us doing a better eBiz Guides Angola 2010 and to join us to our event in Luanda.
Muito agradecido
