eBiz AFRICA REVIEW

Today I have received my first copy of our new magazine eBiz AfricaReview.(EAR)Of course it has been a great happiness to have finally the product of our work for the last 7 months.
Many people have participated in this project but I would like to thank all of them:
-Manuel Sueiras, the Editor in Chief he has helped me to build the who magazine thanks to his professionalism and love a of Africa
-Valerie Janczewsky: she has been our interface to all our customers and new prospects to build a strong customer portfolio for this Issue 0 and did a great work with our new Nomad Laurianne Bergeret. Thanks to both of you.
-Laure Barthelemy: she has done all the work for the graphic design and the creativity for this magazine, amazing work!
-And of course many other have participated with their little touch, Jochen Schell who has been over viewing our next issue and development for EAR, and also Jorge Machin, Research & Development Coordinator, he provided good articles and new prospects, David Azan for all the logistics, and Brieuc Massuyeau who gives support to everyone who need it and also of course who helped Nathalie Oxybel , my personal assistant who synch all our request and demands and was passionate about this project, Sonia Bras, Angela Humeres, Eric Kra, Esther Posadilla, Laetitia Saint Maur who also participated in doing EAR better.
We have been working on this project for some time now, and I hope you be holding in your hands the fruits of our labor: issue Nº 0. This project is a continuation of our eBiz Guides Collection that originally launched the concept of eBiz: “e” for entertainment and Biz for Business.Since then this concept has grown richer and more comprehensive in the different
markets we cover, and there came a point when many friends and colleagues were
urging me to develop a magazine with the same eBiz concept! Well, they finally
convinced me. This review is a way of establishing closer ties with our readers:
same concept, different format.
Of course, we had to start with our most beloved continent, Africa. That is how we
came up with the title eBiz Africa Review. Africa is a continent which, despite the
constant stream of negative news stories from the international media, has seen
huge improvements in the past 15 years, as business globetrotters and travellers
around the world can testify. Countries such as as Angola, Equatorial Guinea or
South Africa, have been developing at breakneck speed. Democracy flourishes
in Ghana, Kenya, Botswana, Namibia and South Africa and peace has finally been
obtained such as Liberia, Sierra Leone or Angola.
There are people who like to portray Africa as a continent where only bad things
happen, but I am of the opinion that you only need to open your eyes to see the
progress being made. This review aims to inform readers about Africa’s news -
the events, people and projects that are making Africa change for the better. We
hope that you will make our motto yours: always going beyond perceptions for our
Business Globetrotters.
We will be publishing the eBiz African Review quarterly, although we intend to increase its periodicity very soon.
